SPECKLED JIM's new CD is our latest addition! formed in the mid-90s, the recently reformed band features Shaun Murphy (Bughouse 5), Scott Farquarson (Filthy Rocket), Alex Koch (The Rubes) and Rob Thomson (Hard Rock Miners). This CD is power pop along the lines of early Replacments or Wilco with a touch from the ghost of Gram Parsons. Check it out!

EUROPE!
Yep, we're back here again; can't seem to stay away... We're were just at the Kids'n'Billies festival on June 27 in Nijmegen, Holland to see BIG JOHN BATES AND THE VOODOO DOLLS, TRIGGERFINGER, and BUNNY BONANZA. BJB+TVD were amazingly great, and were the highlight of the night. We partied with them, later on before getting ready to go to The Hague. The next day we hit ParkPop in The Hague to catch PRETENDERS and THE BUZZCOCKS! It's the largest festival in Europe; there were 3-400,000 people there.

On the 12th we're seeing CALEXICO, THE MAGIC NUMBERS, !!!, LAMB, THE NOTWIST and more at the Cactus Festival in Bruges, Belgium. And a ton more, too! While we're gone, orders will be sent as usual thanks to our friend Trevor!

MOTORAMA is at PAT's PUB in Vancouver July 10! $8 The lineup: WINSTON CAMPAIGN, MOTORAMA, 3rd LIT
They are also a last-minute add to the ROCKET REDUCERS/URBAN GUERILLA show at thr RICKSHAW on June 27th.

TONY BALONY has a solo CD coming out in July! It'll be launched July 15 at the BACKSTAGE LOUNGE (Vancouver)

Also, coming this month, the CD for TRANSYLVANIAN POLKA will be available from us for $10. released in 2007, this insanely taLented band features EVAN, JAKUB SVOBODA (Drums - now in BATTLE SNAKES) and TANIA GOSGNACH (Piano, Vocals). The CD is laden with tight, theatrical alt-prog with the bands' Snakefinger and Zappa influences proudly exhibited.
